Abstract artist Lynette Shaw painted a string of eight serene, textured canvases as large as eight feet across for the reception and restaurant in the Wyvern Hotel in Las Vegas. Today the art is the most appealing quality of the resort. The Pod Hotel at New York also features frameless art. J. M. Rizzi, the artist, has painted city scenes and abstract shapes right on to the walls of the lobby and the corridors.
